Japanese Samurai (ArtWar5)

Here's my entry for Cubebrush's ArtWar5 contest.

It's been awhile since i made a 3d modeled off of a concept i made myself. We were tasked to create a "Champion" based off of a country using its Flag and culture for inspiration in the 3D model's design. I primarily took inspiration from the Japanese mythical creature named "Kirin". I incorporated elements from the creature including it's Horns (Helmet's crescent shape), the mane (Hair on top of Helmet), dragon scales (placed around the armor plates), dragon's mask (mask itself) and many more while still keeping the elements of a Japanese samurai in mind. It's the 1st project I've rendered using the new Marmoset 4 and so far i'm really loving the update!
